Qualifications

1. Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing, currently licensed in the State of Alabama
2. Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience
3. Long-term care or nursing home experience strongly preferred
4. Solid knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and long-term care regulations
5. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
6. Positive, compassionate attitude toward the elderly
7. Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide leadership, direction, and support to the nursing team
2. Oversee all aspects of the nursing department and clinical operations
3. Collaborate closely with the Administrator and department heads
4. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
5. Promote high-quality resident care and uphold residents’ rights
6. Oversee care planning, assessments, and nursing standards
7. Develop, implement, and support staff training and development plans
8. Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on excellence and accountability
