Social Worker
Yas School is currently seeking to recruit a high-performing Social Worker to join our team in August 2026.This is an exciting opportunity to join a flagship government school in Abu Dhabi with the mission of blending Emirati cultural values with modern global standards to create an exceptional educational experience for our students. At Yas School, we deliver the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum and have a special focus on inclusive education, enrichment and preparing future ready learners. Founded in 2015, we are the largest single-campus K-12 government school educating 1750+ girls and boys on our extensive campus.As Social Worker you will provide support, counselling and guidance to students to promote wellbeing and academic success and address social-emotional problems and act as a point of contact for liaison between school and families and encourage collaboration regarding pastoral matters including student behaviour, social welfare, attendance and wellbeing.The successful candidate should: • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field. • Master Degree in Social Work is preferred• Proficiency in English (demonstrated by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or equivalent). • Proficiency in Arabic is a requirement.• 2+ years of experience working in social work.The closing date for applications is Tuesday, 30th June 2025 but applications will be reviewed as they are received, and Yas School reserves the right to make an earlier appointment.
