Faulkner University's College of Health Sciences is seeking a qualified individual for a teaching faculty position, who desires to educate health care professionals in a Christ-centered environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate level courses in the Nursing Program, developing curriculum, and providing clinical supervision as needed. This individual will contribute to student mentorship, program assessment, and professional service while maintaining compliance with accreditation and licensure standards. We are seeking candidates who have a passion for student engagement and advancing the mission of the university and the college. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

This is a full-time, 9 month; on-ground position; Faculty rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with academic qualifications, teaching experience, and research.

Position is scheduled to begin Fall 2026.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing or a health related field required; Doctoral degree preferred
• Expertise in Community/Public Health Nursing and Adult Health required
• Active, unencumbered Alabama registered nurse license or multistate registered nurse license issued by a party state
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a licensed nurse
• Teaching experience preferred
