Job Title: Flight Operations Dispatcher

Location: Dothan, AL

Position Type: Full-time

Security Clearance: Eligible to receive DoW Common Access Card

Navigator is looking for a skilled Flight Dispatcher with a pilot background to oversee the safe and efficient execution of flight operations. This position plays a critical role in flight planning, real-time monitoring, and decision-making in coordination with pilots and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in Aircraft Dispatch, or Flight Coordination is required.
• FAA Dispatch License, Pilot License, US. Army 15P MOS qualified other flight operations qualifications
• Ability to quickly adapt to current and new software products is essential.
• Proactive attitude, problem solving skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to keep your composure during stressful situations is key.
• Ability to communicate and provide fight following communications with multiple aircrews simultaneously.
• Monitor flights from departure to arrival, providing updates and support
• Analyze weather conditions and airspace restrictions
• Coordinate with pilots, air traffic control, and ground operations
• Ensure aircraft performance and fuel planning are optimized
• Respond to in-flight changes, delays, or emergencies
• Proven ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners while maintaining professional relationships
• Highly dependable, punctual, and collaborative
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

• Valid Pilot License (preferred) or US Army 15P MOS qualified
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures
• Experience in flight operations, dispatch, or aviation management
• Excellent decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
