This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse with Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) experience to provide specialized care in a dynamic hospital environment. The position involves delivering critical care to neonates in a 32-bed NICU unit, maintaining a 3:1 patient ratio, and utilizing Cerner EMR systems. The role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and flexibility to float within your scope of practice to nearby facilities when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates in the NICU according to best practices and protocols
• Monitor patient status closely, documenting responses to treatment using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and hospital policies including the use of navy blue scrubs and natural nail guidelines
• Float to other facilities within a 25-mile radius as required, ensuring continuous patient care coverage

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license with at least 2+ years of NICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Ability to work 3 consecutive 12-hour night shifts, 18:4507:15, with every other weekend schedule
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity neonatal unit with a 3:1 patient ratio

Additional Details:

• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts
• Contract assignment with guaranteed 36 weekly hours
• No call requirements
