**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
+ Observe and report any unusual circumstances or conditions during patrols, maintaining awareness of the logistics and distribution environment.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
+ Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
