Al’s Deli and Grill in Birmingham, Alabama is looking for a dependable and experienced Full-Time Grill Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, can handle a fast-paced kitchen environment, and is committed to preparing high-quality food consistently.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Al’s Deli and Grill standards
- Operate and maintain the grill, fryer, and other kitchen equipment safely
- Ensure food quality, freshness, and proper portioning
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Work efficiently during busy meal periods
- Assist with prep work, stocking, and closing duties as needed
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Requirements:
- Previous grill or line cook experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Schedule:
- Full-time hours
- Must be available to work weekends and peak hours
