This role supports students by facilitating virtual speech therapy services alongside licensed speech-language pathologists (SLPs) in a private school cluster near Semmes, AL. The position operates as an on-site paraprofessional or speech aide, acting as the vital connection between students and clinicians within the K-12 setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students during virtual speech therapy sessions by assisting with communication and technology
• Serve as the on-site facilitator for virtual SLP services, ensuring smooth delivery and student engagement
• Collaborate closely with the speech therapist to address student needs and provide timely feedback
• Support additional virtual sessions led by psychologists or other clinicians as needed
• Manage technical equipment and software related to speech therapy, with training provided to ensure proficiency
• Effectively communicate any concerns or updates between students, clinicians, and relevant parties

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, speech aide, or school teacher preferred
• Strong technical aptitude and comfort working with virtual platforms and educational technology
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to support diverse K-12 student populations
• Must be at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, and local to the area
• Ability to provide two professional references
• Willingness to participate in an interview and credentialing process with the ENT team

Location and Schedule:

• Position is based near Semmes, AL, supporting multiple private schools in the Mobile County area
• Approximately 15 hours per week, generally within school hours 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with some flexibility based on clinician schedules
• Contract role through May 29, 2026
