Responsibilities and Duties:

• CNC Lathe Programmer Operator will produce quality machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating through part completion
• CNC Lathe Programmer Operator will write, store, and retrieve programs for machining parts
• CNC Lathe Programmer Operator will prioritize work orders for timely completion to accommodate customer needs
• CNC Lathe Programmer Operator will maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• CNC Lathe Programmer Operator Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements and troubleshoot malfunctions
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills :

• Run, set up, and program vertical & horizontals
• G code knowledge
• Skilled in programming and operating CNC Mazak Lathes.
• Mazak controls
• Nexus
• Write programs in Mazatrol controller and store programs.
• PC fusion 640m.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Strong math skills.
• Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints and/or specifications in order to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
• Can use inspection equipment such as micrometers, depth mic’s, O.D. mic’s, thread gauges and calipers.
