Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A high school is seeking a dedicated and passionate Counselor to support students in their academic, social, and emotional development. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the full school year in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing personal, social, and academic challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to develop intervention strategies.
• Assist students with college and career planning, including guidance on course selection and post-secondary options.
• Facilitate workshops on topics such as stress management, conflict resolution, and study skills.
• Maintain confidential records and document student progress plying with school policies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in School Counseling or related field.
• Valid state counseling certification or licensure.
• Experience working with high school-aged students.
• Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively within a school setting.
