Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders earned from a regionally accredited institution
• Current Professional Educator Certification
• In-depth understanding of federal and state laws, regulations, and best practices relevant to children with disabilities and special education programs
• Expertise in pediatric and adolescent cognitive and physical development
• Proficient in assessment tools for evaluating communication and developmental needs
• Familiarity with the terminology relating to physical and learning disabilities
• Effective communication and documentation skills, both oral and written
• Strong command of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Preferred: ASHA (CCC-SLP) certification and ABSESPA licensure

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with speech, language, or communication needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Participate in professional development activities and remain current with best practices in the field
