Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and respond to alarms and access concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting concerns according to post orders and site protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site contacts and/or public services as needed.
- Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
- Be 21 or more years of age.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
