About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team.

Shift: 1st (Job Type: Full-time), Overtime available| Location: Anniston, AL

Responsibilities:

• Primarily Vans work within 60 miles
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Company uses trucking software with dual facing cameras
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic laws.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
• 2 years of experience
• Acceptable MVR and driving record
• Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and record keeping.
• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
• Good attitude and willing to learn the job.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Normal work environment is outdoors, with exposure to all weather conditions, dirt, high levels of noise, smells/odors and at times exposure to dangerous and/or toxic substances requiring necessary precautions, including PPE.

• The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit and talk or hear.
• Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
