Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Data Entry Clerk to support daily operations at our Pell City facility. This role is ideal for someone who not only excels at data entry but also has hands-on experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

You will be responsible for accurately entering, tracking, and maintaining production-related data while working closely with both office staff and plant personnel. The ideal candidate is comfortable spending time on the production floor, understands manufacturing processes, and can ensure accurate data capture in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain production and operational data in internal systems
  • Collect real-time data directly from the manufacturing floor, including production counts, inventory, and process metrics
  • Review and audit data for accuracy, inconsistencies, and missing information
  • Partner with production, warehouse, and quality teams to verify and validate data
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies to maintain data integrity and reporting accuracy
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical records for production and administrative use
  • Generate and update spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel and other tools
  • Follow all company policies related to data integrity, confidentiality, and safety procedures
  • Support general administrative and clerical functions as needed

Essential Skills

  • Previous data entry experience with a strong focus on speed and accuracy
  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or plant environment
  • Understanding of production processes, inventory tracking, or shop floor operations
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • High attention to detail when handling large volumes of operational data
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Strong communication skills to interact with both office staff and production teams
  • Proven reliability, accountability, and consistent attendance

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working with ERP systems or production tracking software
  • Familiarity with inventory control, cycle counts, or production reporting
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Comfortable moving between office and plant environments throughout the day
  • Adaptable and able to respond to changing production priorities

This is a Contract position based out of Pell City, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
