Crowne Health Care of Thomasville is currently accepting applications for a Med Cart Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse ( RN ) within our long-term care and rehabilitation facility specializing in geriatric care. We are seeking dependable, compassionate professionals who are committed to providing exceptional resident care and enjoy building relationships with residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama LPN License or Temporary PN License, or RN License
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Passion for providing compassionate, resident-centered care

Essential Job Functions

• Administer medications safely and accurately
• Complete computerized documentation and resident assessments
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition to physicians and appropriate parties
• Order medications through the pharmacy
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Perform wound care as ordered
• Collect and process laboratory specimens
• Deliver high-quality nursing care while maintaining compliance with facility policies and regulations
