SLP, School Based Speech-Language Pathologist
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Clayton. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by helping them overcome speech and language challenges within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' specific needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
- Document and maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and therapy sessions.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs.
- Stay informed of the latest research and developments in the field of speech-language pathology and integrate new knowledge into practice.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
