Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Join an educational environment in Oneonta, AL, seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Alabama SLP license and CCC credentials to provide essential support to students. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse caseload within a learning center setting, serving primarily elementary and middle school students, with some high school students included.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language therapy to a caseload of 49 students, focusing on those with high needs
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions
- Communicating effectively with families regarding student progress and therapy outcomes
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Alabama SLP license (AL SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with school-aged children, including elementary and secondary levels
- Ability to manage a high needs caseload efficiently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Location and Schedule:
- Onsite position in Oneonta, Alabama
- Part-time, 4 days per week, 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM
- Flexible arrangements possible for hybrid or VOCO scheduling upon discussion
