Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher committed to supporting inclusive education. This role is based onsite at an elementary school in Wetumpka, AL, offering a contract position from ASAP through May 22, 2026. The assignment involves a 37.5-hour workweek focused on inclusion services within a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs within an inclusive classroom setting.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the academic and developmental goals of each student.
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create a supportive and effective learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to promote success.
• Maintain compliance with all special education regulations and school policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education (SPED) licensure.
• Experience working with inclusion caseloads in a school setting.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to engage with students, educators, and families effectively.
