Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maritime Cartographer to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you will leverage your geospatial expertise to create, analyze, and manage maritime cartographic products supporting critical mission requirements.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced geospatial and imagery intelligence (GEOINT/IMINT) methodologies to produce and maintain maritime cartographic data.

• Create and manage shapefiles, geo-databases, and geospatial features using ArcGIS and other GIS applications.

• Develop, analyze, and process digital cartographic products and geographic information.

• Utilize geospatial software tools including ArcGIS Pro, ERDAS, SocetSet, and common office applications.

• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and mission relevance of geospatial products.

• Support the production and maintenance of Digital Nautical Charts (DNC) and Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC).

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with a related degree, or 5 years of experience without a degree, in GEOINT and IMINT disciplines.

• Proficiency in geography, cartography, and GIS, including hands-on experience with ArcGIS applications.

• Demonstrated expertise in creating shapefiles, geo-databases, and geospatial features.

• Familiarity with geospatial analysis software (ArcGIS Pro, ERDAS, SocetSet) and standard office productivity tools.

• In-depth knowledge of digital cartography, image processing, and geographic information.

• DNC/ENC experience is required.

• Active Secret clearance .

Preferred Education

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Cartography, GIS, or a related field (preferred but not required).
