Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is designed for a skilled Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) ready to take on a leadership role with lasting impact. With a contract-to-hire structure spanning 13+ weeks, this position offers the chance to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include overseeing standard pharmacist duties such as verifying prescriptions, offering patient counseling, and liaising with clinic staff to address medication-related inquiries. This role demands strong management skills to maintain high-quality pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active and clear Alabama pharmacist license
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in pharmacy management
- Proven ability to lead a pharmacy team and manage workflow efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration with clinical staff
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
