Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available in Luverne, AL, serving a K-12 school district. This contract role spans the 2025-2026 school year, from August 5, 2025, through May 22, 2026, with the possibility of hiring two candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a K-12 caseload across multiple schools.
- Conduct referrals, evaluations, re-evaluations, and psychological testing.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation.
- Participate in meetings and collaborate closely with educators and staff.
- Work alongside another School Psychologist to support student needs.
Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist License in Alabama is required.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Job Details:
- Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract duration aligns with the school year.
- Weekends and holidays off.
