Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference as a contract Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) supporting K–5th grade students at three elementary campuses in a vibrant school district near Mobile, AL. This school-based opportunity offers a blend of on-site and VOCO assignments, providing flexibility and hands-on experience across diverse educational settings. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with a consistent 35-hour workweek.

Preferred Experience and Credentials:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Registered and in good standing with the Board of Speech Examiners; current licensure required
• Previous experience in a school setting working with elementary-aged children (K–5th grade) preferred
• Comfortable providing services on-site and/or virtually (VOCO platform)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary educational team
• Must be able to present valid licensure documentation as part of credentialing

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to assigned students at Holloway Elementary, Dawes Intermediate, and Semmes Elementary
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments to determine student needs
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of services, progress, and communications
• Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
