Quality Assurance Analyst

**About the role** As a **Quality Assurance Analyst - Healthcare Systems** , you will make an impact by ensuring data integrity, validating business rules, and supporting smooth application migrations within healthcare platforms. You will be a valued member of the **Healthcare Technology Delivery** team and work collaboratively with project managers, business stakeholders, and development teams. **In this role, you will:** + Gather and analyze functional and non-functional requirements for data transformation utilities (DTU) and create accurate data mappings. + Perform backend testing using complex SQL queries to validate data flows across Oracle and SQL Server databases. + Validate ETL processes, including Informatica transformation rules and business logic. + Test application functionality post-migration (e.g., Pega 5.5 to 6.1) using PRPC tools such as Clipboard, Tracer, and Rules Inspector. + Execute test cases using QTest, log defects in Jira, and ensure traceability between test cases and defects. **Work model** We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs. **What you need to have to be considered** + Strong experience in SQL (including inner/outer joins and complex queries) for data validation and backend testing. + Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and Kanban boards. + Proficiency in PRPC tools for application testing and rule validation. + Knowledge of EDI X12 837 and 835 transaction sets for claims processing. + Ability to write and execute detailed test scenarios and cases for ETL processes. **These will help you stand out** + Experience with healthcare platforms such as FACETS. + Familiarity with mocking 837 claims for testing multiple claim scenarios. + Exposure to QTest and Jira for test management and defect tracking. + Understanding of SLA configurations and declarative rules in Pega. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
