Food Service Vice President of Retail Operations
Seeking a Vice President of Retail Operations for our Fayetteville, Tennessee area operations.
This Vice President will supervise our retail vending and micro market operations for the Fayetteville & Pulaski, Tennessee market. This position has primary financial and operational responsibility for this division, ensuring that customers are retained, satisfied, and that their needs are fulfilled. They will supervise and coordinate activities for retail operations management personnel and will ensure that they have the highest standard of customer service , through leadership of the corporate and regional leadership .
Essential responsibilities will include :
· Financial and operational responsibility of each team in the division
· Responsible for communication and retention of client accounts.
· Responsibility of budgets and profitability
· Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
· Visits to accounts and clients to maintain good relations and reacts to any comments
· Reviews reports daily and weekly to ensure client satisfaction, data integrity, control spoilage rates, accuracy of retail collections and control labor costs.
· Reviews service frequencies with subordinates to assure maximum retail sales
· Schedules regular meetings with all division personnel to foster open lines of communication with direct reports
· Other duties
Qualifying backgrounds should include :
- 5+ years of Director of Operations background or related retail experience ( Restaurant Director of Operations, Retail Director of Operations or Institutional Food Service Director of Operations )
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university desired
- Must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages
- Must be able to review, understand and prepare budgets , company business proformas, operating statements and other corporate financial documents
- Must have a great sense of urgency and follow-through to deliver “best in class” customer service
- Must be creative and have the ability to handle multiple projects at once
- Must have the skill to present information to groups of clients, employees and company leadership
Compensation will include :
- Salary base $90-115K annually
- 20% annual Bonus
