Diesel Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Earn $28-$35/HR with Overtime paid after 40 Hours! Direct Hire position.

• Weekends Off! Monday - Friday schedule! 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM).

• Premium Pay: $28-$30 for Diesel Mechanics; up to $35/HR for those with Garbage Truck experience.

• Perform **minor and major repairs **on waste pick-up trucks and specialized support equipment.

• Conduct **diagnostics **and preventive maintenance including hydraulics, electrical, and air brakes.

• **Consistent Pay **and a full Benefits Package offered in a safety-focused shop environment.

• Work with **modern tools **to overhaul and replace major assemblies and sub-assemblies.

• Enjoy a **set schedule **that allows for flexibility during your morning and afternoon hours.

Requirements

• **24 Months **of recent verifiable experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• **Waste industry or garbage truck **maintenance experience is highly preferred.
• Valid **ASE Diesel Certification **is considered a major asset but not required.
• Must be **21 **years of age or older.
• Ability to **lift up to 100 pounds **and perform physical shop duties.
• Excellent **reading and writing skills **for accurate vehicle record keeping.
