Scanner/Inventory Specialist
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an experienced Scanner/Inventory Specialist for a company based in Montgomery, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately scanning required items to produce high-quality digital images for inventory, listings, and archival purposes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks, and a commitment to quality and consistency. This is temporary to permanent position.

Pay Rate
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.

Scanner/Inventory Specialist Duties and Responsibilities

• Scan items to produce clear, high-resolution images of front and back covers.
• Ensure accurate representation of each item.
• Handle items with care to prevent damage during the scanning process.
• Maintain consistent workflow and productivity while performing repetitive tasks.
• Perform basic quality control checks to ensure company standards.
• Organize and track scanned inventory accurately within internal systems.
• Assist with bagging, boarding and labeling as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Scanner/Inventory Specialist Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move long boxes weighing 50+lbs. (Lifting assessment given in the office.)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proper unexpired documents require completed the Federal I-9 process.
• Background and Drug Testing are required
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Comfortably performing repetitive tasks with consistency.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn scanning software and systems.
• Quality control and/or Inventory experience is a plus.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):
Experience with scanning barcodes or digital imaging
Familiarity with important items.
Experience in warehouse, inventory, or production environments

Job Type
Full-time, temporary to permanent
