What is required for this position

What is preferred for this position

· Procore or other project management software experience

· Experience in the following sectors: Self Storage, Multifamily, Retail, Commercial Office, Municipal, Automotive, or High End Residential

· Bachelor's Degree

What you will be doing

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting the project team in managing quality, schedule, budget, safety, and client satisfaction

• Ensure that the day-to-day coordination of P&E's trade contractors and their sub-contractors turn out high-quality work that meets the approved project schedule
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Assist with schedules, change orders, RFI's, and submittals
• Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents to be able to plan ahead and anticipate potential problems before they arise
• Obtain or verify that the subcontractors obtain all necessary permits for construction purposes
• Verify safety compliance with all trades; act as primary safety representative in the field and enforce quality control policies
• Help assist with marketing for targeted project
