Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Real Estate Manager to join our team and support the growth and operational success of our restaurant portfolio. This role will focus on lease negotiations, landlord relationships, license and permit processes, and ensuring compliance across all real estate matters. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the restaurant sector, preferably within the QSR space , and strong capabilities in managing leases, contracts, and property-related documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Lease Management & Negotiation

• Review, negotiate, and manage commercial leases to secure favorable terms.

• Prepare detailed executive lease summaries for C-suite review and approval.

• Maintain and update the lease database to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

Landlord & Stakeholder Relations

• Build and manage strong relationships with landlords, brokers, and property managers.

• Act as the primary point of contact for landlord communications and conflict resolution.

Contract & Compliance Oversight

• Review and interpret contracts, ensuring full understanding of terms and conditions.

• Coordinate with internal teams and outside counsel as needed to resolve legal or compliance issues.

Licensing & Permitting

• Oversee and coordinate license and permit procedures required for restaurant operations.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Cross-Functional Support

• Partner with operations, finance, and legal teams to align real estate strategy with business objectives.

• Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leadership on property-related matters.

Qualifications

• Experience : 3–5+ years of experience in real estate management, preferably within the restaurant or retail industry (QSR strongly preferred).

• Core Skills :

  • Lease review, contract negotiation, and landlord relationship management

  • Strong knowledge of licensing and permitting for restaurant operations

  • Proficiency in lease database management

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to prepare concise, executive-level lease summaries

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.

• Other : Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
