Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license (Alabama or eligibility)
• Experience or interest in pediatric and/or school-based settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to an educational environment
• Organizational skills and flexibility to adjust as needs arise

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students as indicated by their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Assess students’ physical, developmental, and sensory needs in academic settings
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement targeted interventions
• Maintain clear documentation of student progress and session notes
• Support the educational team in creating inclusive learning environments
