System Administrator II (Big IP F5)

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a System Administrator II specialized in Big IP F5, for a government contract. These individuals will be working on a military base doing all network and system support for all of the Air Force. The day to day is as follows: -Operate, maintain, monitor F5 appliances, configurations, identify BIG-IP Traffic Processing Objects, and analyze overall health and effectiveness of multiple Big IP F5 instances. -Manage application integration designs around application logic and authentication configuration (session management, application redirects, rewrites, migration scenarios, app routing, CAC/PIV authentication). -Support, troubleshoot and configure SSL intercept/inspection, web certificates, certificate management, PKI Certificate Authority (CA) bundles, private/public keys. Install, configure, and administer Big IP F5 Platform Suite referencing Web Applications with Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Access Policy Manger (APM) services. Install and patch Big IP F5 systems, and document DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) checklists. -Design and administrator load balancing strategies/ techniques, in application switching / traffic management, knowledge of persistence and SSL certificates. -Create and maintain documentation detailing architecture components, configurations, monitoring & alerting setup, troubleshooting guides, and checklists. -Notify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours for all accountable item moves. -Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair.
