DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (Engineering industry)
MOBILE, AL (GREAT BENEFIT PLAN)

A leading engineering and construction management firm seeks a Director of Business Development to drive growth in roadway/highway, water/wastewater, storm water, coastal engineering, and dredging markets. This role focuses on client development, relationship management, and project pursuits within South Alabama.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Business, Engineering, or Construction Management).
• Strong business development, client engagement, and proposal coordination skills.
• Experience with government contracting, municipal infrastructure, and federal grant programs is a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning abilities.
• Ability to travel as needed.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and expand relationships with clients, industry partners, and government agencies.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts.
• Lead proposal development, marketing efforts, and strategic business initiatives.
• Research and analyze market data to develop a pipeline of potential projects.
• Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
