JOB SUMMARY:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting the accounting department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reconcile Leasing Accounts Payable
• Reconcile Floor Plan
• Update Commission Report
• Update Summary P&L Report
• Reconcile Bank Statements to Ledger
• Update Rolling Forecasts & Budgets each month
• Assist in preparing Financial Statements
• File and pay monthly Sales Tax
• Reconcile and Post insurance amounts for each employee
• Process monthly loan payments for Leasing & Rental Trucks
• Reconcile fixed assets & post monthly depreciation
• Reconcile prepaid & Post Amortization
• Reconcile Rebill accounts
• Create Monthly Repair and Maintenance summary
• Post Truck Deals
• Enter Invoices for Leasing
• Assist Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable as needed
• Process Biweekly Payroll as needed

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus)
• 3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large data
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
• Procede Knowledge plus
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Thrive in a collaborative, team player environment
• Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
• Dealership knowledge preferred
