Mig/Tig Welders Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $20.00 to $23.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday )

•Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers and use simple math to perform basic calculations.

•Must be proficient in welding techniques.

•Must be able to perform wire and filler material applications for various steel alloys, aluminum and galvanized.

•Manually guides electrode or gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld and size of molten puddle.

•Welds in flat, horizontal and vertical positions.•Examines weld for bead size and other specifications.

•Operates grinders and DA sanders to clean up/smooth welds.

•Must be able to perform visual inspection and dimensional inspection using basic measuring tools.

•Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with production requirements.

•Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on welders as required.

•Maintain work area in clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.

•Must have a working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing.

Mig/Tig Welders Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to perform essential duties

• High school education or GED

• Minimum of two years in various forms of welding

• Successful completion of an internal welding test

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
