Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Aimbridge Hospitality . The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

This position is an overtime eligible manager (OEM), overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.

PROPERTY INFORMATION:
Located off Interstate 84, just a 15-minute drive from Hartford city center, units at the Hartford Manchester feature full kitchenettes. Guests have access to a seasonal outdoor pool and hot tub. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. All air-conditioned rooms at the Residence Inn Manchester have separate living areas and come furnished with a dining area and work desk. The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave and coffee-making facilities. Residence Inn Hartford Manchester features a sports facility complete with tennis court and a well-equipped gym.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred; or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience.
Valid driver’s license in the applicable state required.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills; ability to negotiate, sell, and influence.
Thorough experience with professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing.
Strong analytical skills and strategic vision.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Strong organization and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage and interact with people of diverse backgrounds.
Advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles.
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure.
