As a Senior Software Engineer within PNC's Lending Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of an Agile engineering team where you will be responsible for technical design and development within our Lending Technology line of business. Additionally, you will work with our testers to address bugs or defects and propose & design solutions. This position would require fluidity and flexibility, as this is not a role with specific guidelines where you will perform the same tasks on a day to day basis. Due to the nature of this position we are seeking passionate full-stack developers. Candidates should have experience with the following: -Front End (Angular Preferred, also acceptable is experience in any front end framework (e.g. React, Vue, Blazer, etc)) -Back End (Java preferred, also acceptable is experience in any backend language (e.g.Go, Python, C#, etc) -Database (Experience in at least two: SQL Server, CosmosDB, Oracle, MongoDB, ProstgreSQL) -Other preferred skills would include Microservice architecture, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Gradle, NPM, Jenkins, Helm, Docker, CI/CD, Git PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. **Job Description** + Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms. + Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. + Writes code, tests and deploys software. + Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software. + Maintains and debugs software. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered. **Education** Bachelors **Certifications** No Required Certification(s) **Licenses** Candidates being considered for this position will be subject to additional background checks as established by the specific government client contract. **Pay Transparency** Base Salary: $55,000.00 - $152,375.00 Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education.
