MEDICAL LAB SCIENTIST I - EAMC LAB

- POSITION SUMMARY
- Prepares, analyzes, and reports laboratory tests in all areas of the clinical laboratory including blood bank, chemistry, hematology, serology, microbiology, and molecular microbiology under the supervision of a Medical Technologist II or Section Supervisor.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
- A.S. in Science or Military Certificate that can be verified as Academic Education from a NAACLS, CAAHEP or ABHES Accredited Program
- Completion of Nationally Accredited Clinical Laboratory Science Program
- Minimum Experience
- None
- Required Registration/License/Certification
- Holds MLS (ASCP), MT (ASCP), or MT (AMT), or obtains within 12 months of hire.
- Preferred Education
- B.S. in Medical Technology.
- Preferred Experience
- 1-3 years of laboratory experience.
- Preferred Registration/License/Certification
