Craftsmen Contractors is hiring Licensed Journeyman Plumbers and Apprentices/Helpers for the Florence, Alabama area. This is for an ongoing commercial project working day shifts from Monday thru Friday.

Starting pay rate for Plumbers : $24 - $36/hr. depending on experience.

Starting pay rate for Apprentices/Helpers: $18 - $22/hr. depending on experience

Plumber Duties:

• Install, repair, or replace commercial water systems
• Service plumbing fixtures and equipment
• Provide job estimates
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial buildings
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation and functionality of plumbing systems
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify any issues or potential problems
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance

Apprentice/Plumber Helper Job Duties:

• Locating and identifying leaks.
• Repairing or replacing pipes and parts.
• Determining the right tools and equipment necessary to complete a job.
• Assisting with preparing cost estimates for clients.
• Helping the Plumber to ensure that all work is in accordance with federal, state, and local plumbing codes.
• Cleaning the job site after the work is completed.
• Following the Plumbers' orders and instructions.

Job Requirements:

• Previous commercial plumbing experience - at least 2 years.
• Helpers & Apprentices experience - at least 1 year
• Reliable transportation to get to the job site
• Familiar with various plumbing tools and methods
• Physical stamina
• Will need to have basic hand tools for the job and ALL PPE.
• Plumber's License required
• An Apprentice Plumber/Plumber Helper license is required.
