As a Security Officer Hospital Campus Patrol in Birmingham, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, as conditions vary by site.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, loitering, and/or disruptive activity while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support a welcoming environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and reporting maintenance, security-related, and/or environmental concerns observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include the morgue.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting, as required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
