Overview:

Onin Staffing is seeking an experienced MIG Welder/Fitter to join our team. This position is responsible for measuring, fitting, and welding metal components used in the fabrication of awning frames and related structures. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints, accurately fit materials, and produce high-quality welds in a fast-paced production environment.

Skills and Experience:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum materials
• Measure, cut, and fit metal components according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
• Assemble and tack-weld parts prior to final welding
• Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards
• Operate fabrication tools such as grinders, saws, and measuring equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a MIG welder and fitter required
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Blueprint reading experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended peri
