Salary: $15-$18 per hour

Required to be local to Huntsville, AL due to being an onsite Monday-Friday position.

Essential Functions:

• Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers, ensuring a professional experience.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages.
• Manage and distribute incoming/outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
• Manage office supplies and office kitchen supplies, including monitoring and refilling snacks and beverages.
• Notify staff of visitor arrivals and coordinate access badges or sign-in processes.
• Coordinate with vendors, couriers, and building maintenance staff.
• Perform interdepartmental administrative and clerical support tasks as needed.
• Performs basic filing and recordkeeping to support assigned team.
• Coordinate and place lunch orders for meetings, trainings, and team events, ensuring timely delivery, accommodating dietary needs including setup and cleanup.
• Utilize Microsoft core business applications to carry out daily duties.
• Maintain Other duties as assigned by Office Administrator.

Required Job Specifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software

Work Conditions

Work is typically performed in an office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. The person in this position will often move about inside the office to escort visitors, deliver packages to addressee, etc. Occasionally operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, and computer printer. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time. The person in this position frequently communicates with employees and clients.
