Job Summary:
Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementing and evaluation. The quality of care given will be in keeping with the policies and procedures of nursing to meet the health needs of the patients. Provide age specific care as planned and made up of infants to geriatric patients. Maintain good working relationship among staff, co-workers and customers. Use good people and communication skills along with a positive attitude. Collaboration with other professional disciplines must be maintained to endure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcome. You must provide other nursing duties as required.
Requirements:Education/Experience: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate’s in Nursing.
License/Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama. Must be Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified. Must maintain CEUs consistent with requirements of Alabama Board of Nursing. Orientation of Intensive Coronary care. Basis Electrocardiography/Critical Care course preferred.
