JASSM Production Senior Software Engineer / Embedded / C++ / Troy, AL
Description:

This position is responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, code and unit test, and hardware/software integration and verification. The individual will develop embedded software in C++ and embedded operating system in an Agile environment using JIRA, Git and Confluence. The individual will need to apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the development lifecycle. What You Will Be Doing As a Senior Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: -Travel to Orlando FL and Ocala FL-Assist in troubleshooting JASSM software and hardware
-Ensure compliance to production requirements
-Interface with Orlando leadership
-Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
-Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
-Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
-Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Basic Qualifications:
Technology: Embedded Software
Language: C++
Multi-core and multi-threaded programming
Experience with object-oriented design
OS: Linux or VxWorks
Willingness to travel to Orlando and Ocala Florida
Must have interim Secret clearance to start, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Must be a US citizen

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
