Caregiver for AI Training Data Collection
Use your everyday childcare and caregiving experience to create high-quality video data that helps train next-generation AI. This contract role requires recording routine caregiving tasks on a smartphone, following detailed protocols for quality, labeling, and synchronization. No prior AI experience is required, practical hands-on caregiving experience is the key qualification.
Key Responsibilities- Record motion and synchronized video while performing everyday caregiving tasks, for example feeding, playtime, supervised activities, and household routines involving children.
- Follow detailed, step-by-step technical protocols to ensure recordings meet quality, labeling, and accuracy standards.
- Contribute a minimum of 10 hours of approved video data per week for the duration of the project.
- Complete required device compatibility checks and a short custom AI-enabled interview before beginning work.
- Communicate with the project team to clarify guidelines and provide feedback about the data collection process.
- Deliver required recordings reliably and on schedule, in line with project milestones.
- Current or recent experience as a nanny, au pair, childcare provider, or caregiver.
- Attention to detail, especially with video recording and following technical instructions.
- Ability to follow consistent, detailed protocols and to perform repetitive caregiving tasks safely.
- Reliable, self-directed, and able to manage your own schedule and output.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Comfortable using smartphones and common mobile apps.
- Access to a compatible smartphone, and to a head strap for hands-free recording within 48 hours of your start date.
- Gmail address strongly preferred for smoother tool integration.

- Remote work only, experts must be based in one of the designated U.S. states listed under Eligibility.
- Minimum contribution of 10 hours of approved video data per week for the project.
- Roles are typically filled within 48 hours. If selected, you should be prepared to start as soon as you complete onboarding, generally within about 24 hours.
- Recordings must be made from a smartphone using a head-mounted camera setup, such as a head strap, to enable hands-free capture.
- Supported devices include iPhone 12 and later, Google Pixel 6 and later, and Samsung Galaxy S21 and later.
- Detailed device specifications and setup instructions will be provided during onboarding.
- Pay range: $13.00 to $15.00 hourly equivalent.
- Payment is output-based, experts are paid per recorded video that meets the project specifications.
- Must be legally authorized to work and be located in one of the following U.S. states: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wisconsin.
- Apply and complete a device compatibility check, then a brief custom interview conducted through the project''s interview tool.
- If selected, you will receive onboarding materials and technical instructions. Expect to be able to begin work within about 24 hours after onboarding is complete.
- Because roles typically fill within 48 hours, be prepared to start quickly after selection.
