Job Title: Part Time Janitor

The Night Porter team plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of campus buildings after hours. Working behind the scenes, this team ensures that facilities are thoroughly cleaned and ready for the day ahead.

Schedule:

• Night Shift or Day
• Monday to Friday
• Saturday & Sunday (optional)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning of assigned campus buildings, including classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas
• Ensure all tasks meet Creactiva’s standards of cleanliness and align with Samford University’s expectations
• Follow cleaning checklists and complete assigned work orders thoroughly and on time
• Communicate regularly with the team lead to clarify responsibilities, report any issues, and confirm task completion
• Use cleaning supplies and equipment properly and efficiently, with attention to product use and safety
• Refill cleaning supplies and report low inventory needs as necessary
• Adhere to campus driving and parking protocols at all times
• Report any facility concerns, maintenance issues, or unusual incidents during the shift
• Support a safe and secure work environment by following company policies and safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physically demanding janitorial tasks
• Willingness to work overnight hours reliably and with minimal supervision
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
• Respectful, professional, and responsible conduct, especially while working in campus environments
