This position will be located in Huntsville, AL, Manhattan Beach, CA, or Colorado Springs, CO and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division.\n\nNorthrop Grumman supports the Air Force\u2019s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.\n\nWhat you will get to do:\n\nThe Sentinel program has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join the team supporting activities including use case development, requirements definition / allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification \u0026 validation, and requirements traceability. \n\nSpecific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:\n\n * Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts\n * Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design\n * Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model\n * Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical)\n * Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis\n * Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration) \n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications: \n\nThis requisition may be filled at either the Principal Systems Engineer level (T-03) or Sr. Principal Systems Engineer level (T-04).\n\nRequired for both levels:\n\n * Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years\n\n * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need\u200b\n\n * Experience with requirements management/analysis/allocations \n\n\n\n\n### \n\n### \n\n### Principal Systems Engineer:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience with Bachelor\u0027s degree, 3 years of experience with Master\u0027s degree, 1 year with a PhD\n\n\n\n\nSr. Principal Systems Engineer:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 Years of related experience; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience with SysML, UML, or other modeling languages\n\n * Experience using tools to model large systems with multiple developers \n\n * Experience in Software and/or Hardware design \n\n * Experience in documenting Interface Control Documents, Interface Requirement Specifications, and Interface Description Documents \n\n\n\n\nPosition Benefits\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: \n\n * Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage \n\n * 401k \n\n * Educational Assistance \n\n * Life Insurance \n\n * Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions \n\n * Paid Time Off \n\n * Health \u0026 Wellness Resources \n\n * Employee Discounts \n\n\n\n\n position\u2019s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. \n\nThis role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\n#Sentinelsystems\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $108,800.00 - $163,200.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $135,800.00 - $203,600.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
