Overview:

The Onin Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support daily operations at our Woodstock, AL warehouse. This role is ideal for an up-and-coming automotive engineer or an individual with experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, or automotive logistics.

The Logistics Specialist will serve as a key liaison between administrative functions and warehouse operations, helping ensure efficient processes, accurate reporting, and compliance with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse operations and administrative functions.
• Assist with operational tasks typically managed by the Operations Specialist team, allowing leadership to focus on strategic warehouse initiatives and new operational protocols.
• Generate and analyze operational reports to monitor performance, inventory, and workflow metrics.
• Conduct audits related to supplies, inventory, and purchasing activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with automotive parts suppliers and maintain effective communication within the supplier network.
• Support purchasing and buyer-related activities by tracking inventory needs and supplier performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Perform additional operational and administrative duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Automotive, Industrial, Mechanical, Supply Chain, or a related field) or equivalent operational experience.
• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, manufacturing, or automotive environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
