BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

1+ years of experience in Nondestructive Evaluation. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of computer aided design tools and systems (e.g., computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), computer aided three dimensional interactive (CATIA), Mentor Graphics, Unigraphics).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Evaluates parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications. Analyzes failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures. Generates test plans, identifies and categorizes failures, determines root cause and documents results and recommendations. Proposes, develops and validates revisions to procedures and specifications. Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes. Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes and coordinates resolution of issues with suppliers and customers. Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by designing, developing, fabricating, testing, evaluating and implementing new concepts and technology. Provides knowledge and technical consultation to internal and external customers. Works under general direction.

Support audits, root cause analyses, and failure investigations as a subject matter expert. Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by leading the design, development, fabrication, testing, evaluation and implementation of new concepts and technology. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians. Supports the Team Lead and work statement, assist defining strategies and/or provides consultation.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Accredited AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK HOURS:

Full-Time-1st Shift- 08:00am-05:00pm
