ResponsibilitiesProject Planning: Oversee and coordinate all phases of residential construction projects from inception to completion.
Budget Management: Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization to include labor, materials and equipment.
Team Leadership: Lead and support construction teams to maintain productivity and project timelines. Monitor projects and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
Quality Assurance: Create and implement quality control processes to ensure that all work meets company standards.
Client Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing regular project updates.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
Residential Project Sales: Providing customers with job expectations, project timelines, design ideas and turning a pending client into an active project.
Contract Execution: Review and negotiate contracts with sub-contractors and suppliers, ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Project Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation including change orders, progress reports, financial status reviews and sub-contractor agreements
RequirementsExperience: A minimum of 3 years in residential construction project management.
Able to commute or relocate.
Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge: Proficient in project management software and familiarity with zoning, permits, and local building codes in Alabama.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
Budget Management: Experience in managing budgets, subcontractors, and schedules effectively.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with teams and subcontractors.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
