Job Title: Substation Quality Inspector

Type: 3 year Contract


Compensation: $50.00

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on substations to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Read and interpret grading plans and soil reports to verify construction accuracy and adherence to design.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with team members, contractors, and clients.
• Utilize surveying equipment including robotic instruments, GPS devices, and data collectors to gather field data.
• Document findings accurately and prepare inspection reports as required.
• Assist in coordinating field activities to maintain project schedules and quality standards.

• Preferred experience with reading and interpreting grading plans and soil reports.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Minimum of 5 years surveying experience with robotic instruments, GPS, and data collectors.
• Previous experience in civil construction works is preferred.
• Must be a self-starter, organized, and possess good interpersonal and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work effectively in a field office on the job site.
• Proficient with computers and/or iPads.
