Position: RN-MedSurg (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg setting, ensuring safety and comfort.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Assist in achieving departmental targets and quality metrics.

• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.

• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

• Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions to enhance skills.

• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols in patient care.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

• Utilize electronic health records to maintain accurate patient information.

• Adapt to changing patient needs and work environment efficiently.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alabama with MedSurg certification.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Experience in MedSurg nursing with a focus on patient-centered care.

• Ability to work independently and meet departmental quality metrics.

• Strong communication skills for effective patient and team interactions.

• Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols in healthcare.
